is a german surname. In my case, from what I am told two brothers came over from Germany many years ago. One of them was given the "Eitel" spelling and my branch of the family got the "Eytel" spelling.
A few Eytels have distinguished themselves. I am aware of a Carl Eytel who was a painter that lived near Palm Springs, CA some years ago. There are inventors, a couple of doctors, several lawyers, quite a few I.T. guys and even some military Eytel's.

This speed controller was decades ahead of its time. Unfortunately it is no longer in production. The documentation is becoming hard to find so a few RC friends of mine have asked for me to post it online. I wish these things were still being made. I'd buy two more.
